I'm so sorry for my long absence from this comm.. *bows* ..but I have been keeping tabs on our lovely guy thanks to regular updates in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.2) junki_daily and leejunki comms, the latest being the wrap-up party of Iljimae and the selection of Lee Jun Ki as the Face of Hallyu for the upcoming 2008 Seoul Hallyu Festival. Please look up their members-locked posts to have a fill of beautiful beautiful pictures from the backstage scenes of Iljimae and the press con where JunKi was named 'The Face of Hallyu 2008'!

The Festival will take place over three days starting October 23, and will host a Hallyu star fanmeeting and photo session, as well as a fundraising concert to raise money for recent disasters in Asia. Other celebs scheduled to attend include DBSK, SG Wannabe, Super Junior, Lee Min-woo, and more.

I also looked up his wikipedia to check out what his upcoming project is, and found that he has also signed on to star in the film 'Hae'oondae', a blockbuster in which the Pusan beach is overwhelmed by a giant tsunami! (however, this is not referenced in wiki, so we'll just have to be patient until it's officially confirmed in other news sites~) |

I'm in the process of uploading Iljimae ep 1 (avi) to Savefile ..coz I hate MU's limited download thingy.. and coz I can put up all the links to subsequent episodes into folders. But since Savefile only allows 60MB maximum, the number of splits I have to make amounted to 13 *faints* (watch out for my other uploads later later lateeeer on ^^;)
I'll make a post and put up the links once I finish uploading the whole thing.. which I dunno when it'll finish considering I have to go to the dull internet-less work place again for quite sometime starting next week.
I think I'll download both, the raw (for screen-capping purpose *hehe*) and the hard-subbed versions.. I wonder when the HD version will come out. |

I won't re-upload the files since they're still fresh (plus, my home net is behaving like a stupid right now). If you can't download using MU, install the free MU toolbar (it works like a miracle). However, the toolbar dun work on firefox, so you have to switch to IE everytime you want to open the link (RIGHT CLICK -> PROPERTIES -> highlight link and COPY -> PASTE in IE browser).

Finally! I get the confusing MV after looking up wiki..huh XD;
So yeah.. these are the MVs he starred in for Lee Soo Young's songs. The 3 MVs tell a story of a guy who's loved by 2 women, pities one and loves back the other.. or so I have deducted. Anyone who can interpret the story better, pls tell me.. coz I have no idea what the korean dialogue means ^^;
We just can't force our feelings on someone else, love doesn't work that way.. is that what the series of songs trying to tell us? But who's to say the third person is wrong? All's fair in love and war after all. Anyway.. here are the youtubes in order:

| Appearance - JunKi at the 'Death Note L' Fanmeet |

Lee JunKi during stage greetings for the special Premiere/Fanmeet for the 'Death Note L' Movie at the Apujeong CGV Theater in Seoul. The star Matsuyama Kenichi and director Nakata Hideo were also there.
(JunKi has been chosen as one of the most eligible actors to be cast to star in the Korean version of the 'Death Note' series. However, whether or not there will actually be a Korean version, or if JunKi would actually be in it, is still speculation. Nothing has been confirmed.)
Even tho L might be a more challenging role for Junki (if this will eva come true in the future) .. I would like to see him play Raito. I think he'd make an excellent megalomaniacal psycopath..it's in the eyes. He can 'change' himself just like that ..by the way he looks at people. I can just see him as Light. I wish it'd be confirmed *waits patiently for any news about it* |

| Interview (subbed in English) - My Girl (Lee Da Hae & Lee Jun Ki) |

...that moment at the end of My Girl when Lee Da Hae frankly said that if it were her, she would definitely chose Jeong Woo over Gong Chan was the highlight of the entire drama for me (that, and everytime Junki appeared on the screen XDD)
It's a good thing I like Da Hae-sshi's acting so even tho Junki was not the main char, the drama was still very enjoyable to me..I laughed the whole time Yoo Rin and Gong Chan sparred with each other (which is rare really. Usually if my fave actor is relegated to second fiddle, I'd curse the drama the whole time he's not plastered on my monitor XD;)
Even tho the drama took a turn for the serious and sappy nearing the end, to me it fits the story and it didn't drag on for too long.. so yeah.. thank God. And it also helps that Junki's crying face is so cute, not a moment did I squirm in embarrassment watching him shed a tear (which is a normal reaction for me when I watch men cry on screen ^^;).
All in all.. this drama gets a thumb up from me. Plus, it's the story that got me hooked on Junki. So みなーさん。。those who haven't watched it, watch it already lah~~ :DDD |
